Creative Democracy is an ongoing, interdisciplinary series created and performed by Hannah Michal.
Creative Democracy was born behind Hannah’s cellphone screen amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. With an immense amount of freedom and creative vigor, she has set up a poll based democracy via her Instagram. Through this poll, she asks her followers to vote for the medium they wish to see her explore, which pertains to varying subject matter .

Here we are.
How desperate and eager are we,
As we shift our position so consistently.
Our mind can barely process A moment of silence.
When silence comes… When She ties us down and forces us To watch her - we squirm.
The last time we were this Silent
Was when our infancy was Cradled by our gentle mothers.
3 months old and sleeping.
Silence tells us profound Things.
Secrets.
But we can only be in on the Secret…this special club………. If we shut up. For one second.
The secret is….
The secret is backed by the sound of our own hearts Beating.
And the cracking of our joints As we squat to pick up our pens from the floor.
The secret lives within us……… It has waited patiently for us to Come home.
Like our mothers wait for us to Come home for the holidays.
